sorry for the lack of update. well i’ve dislocated my knee. i did it a week ago. its healing nicely, no surgery required, just some physical therapy. my boyfriend also broke up with me and is now getting together with a close friend. I have the stomach flu and have lost around four lbs because i can’t keep any food down on both ends. I couldn’t participate in lipsync because thats when I dislocated my knee - at the dress rehersal. March has been a shitty month so far I must say! The only people I can trust are my mother, Julie, Katelyn, and my music teacher.
Region band was AWESOME. Seriously, I had such a good time. I got second chair, second flute which is so much better than I did at districts, and it was a harder audition and group. All the songs were amazing, and my favorites were Hennepin County Dawn and Trieste. I absolutely adored the guest conductor, he was so funny and gave us nice long breaks. I got sick during this festival, but my band director and host family took care of me very well. I did not make states but I am not disappoited. It was a killer section and I know I did my best. There is also next year! :D

So, about the snowball pageant. It went soooo well!! Seriously, it was so fun. I messed up on my talent but still managed to get first runner up and win the platform essay award! :D My friend Amy got 2nd runner up, and Dae got the crown. I think she really deserved it, plus she wanted it so much. Emily got miss congeniality, which she also deserved. I am so proud of everyone that participated! I love you guys!
